In the Honeywell control station hardware, the C300 controller is the protagonist of the control part and is very important. Let's get to know it well!
①The bottom plate of C300 controller. (C series hardware is composed of two parts, the base plate and the module, the module is inserted on the base plate and fixed with bolts)
There will be many interfaces on the backplane for the connection of the C300 controller with other parts.
②Module
The module is the main body of the control part. There are processors, memory, internal detection and other circuits inside. The main work of the control part will be completed here; there are LED lights and display screens on the module, where you can get a lot of C300 working process or Various information in the fault will be described in detail later.
③FTE network equipment index number
The identification of C300 in the network is different from other nodes (server, operating station, other C300), which can be understood as the IP address of C300 (C300 and server, operating station, etc. are all in the same FTE network, and each node in the network depends on IP To distinguish)
From right to left, the black triangles correspond to the numbers ×1, ×10, ×100, and finally add up to a three-digit number (1×1+0×10+0×100=1 in the picture above) as the IP address The last number and the first three numbers come from the corresponding settings of the configuration software on the server (the following figure is 192.168.0, then the IP address of the controller is 192.168.0.1).
Because C300 is very important, in actual work, two C300s are generally used to form active and standby redundancy (for the redundancy concept, please refer to the introduction of server redundancy). The IP address of a pair of redundant controllers should be set to an odd number. The other is set to an odd number plus 1.
④Backup battery interface
Use a dedicated cable to connect the backup battery, the purpose is to keep the latest configuration strategy in the C300 memory RAM when the C300 is out of power.
⑤ GPS clock source network interface
Clock synchronization is very important in an automatic control system, that is, the time of each node in the system is best to be consistent. If the time of each node in the network is obtained from the GPS clock source device, the clock can easily be kept consistent. The C300 controller can use this network port to connect to an external clock source and obtain the time from the clock source. If the network port is not plugged into the network cable to connect to the clock source, then the C300 time can be set from the server through the software.
⑥Redundant network port
The network ports of a pair of redundant C300 controllers are connected with a network cable to complete data synchronization between the active and standby controllers.
⑦Connect the two network ports of FTE network
Any node in the FTE network has two network ports. Use two different colors of network cables to connect two different switches (for details, please refer to FTE network). These are the two network ports. There are marked A and B on the backplane.
⑧I/OLINK interface
C300, as the core of the control part, requires the cooperation of IO cards. The IO cards of C300 rely on these two pairs of interfaces to connect to IO. The ability of C300 to connect to IO is limited. Each pair of interfaces can connect up to 40 IOs in parallel, and there are two pairs of interfaces. The total number of connected IOs cannot exceed 64 instead of 80. (If the upper interface is connected in parallel with 40, then the lower interface can only be connected to 24). The appearance of interfaces in pairs is also a concept of redundancy, that is, each IO card has two IOLINK cables connected to the C300, and disconnecting one does not affect operation.
